Build a rich foundation in government, ethics, economics, and civic life with Alveary's Charlotte Mason Citizenship curriculum for U.S. students in grades 7–12. Each grade weaves together several strands that deepen year over year. Plutarch's Lives (Grades 7–9) introduces students to 2,000-year-old biographies that have shaped thinkers from Montaigne to Shakespeare, helping students evaluate the characteristics of a good citizen. Government study begins in Grade 7 with the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the separation of powers, then expands in Grade 8 to local and state government, primary source documents, and an introduction to personal finance and economics. Grades 9–11 continue exploring government through historical documents and decisions tied to each history rotation, alongside a growing study of economic theories and cultural engagement as a Christian. Grade 12 completes the sequence with basic economics and civics topics including political engagement, relationships in a technological world, and the conscience. Ethics runs through all six years starting with Charlotte Mason's Ourselves, exploring what it means to be a person and how to guard against good servants becoming bad masters. Weekly Current Events and Community Read Alouds round out each year. *Grades 9–11 can be easily combined for government lessons, and these courses pair naturally with the corresponding Geography lessons and the History & Lit bundles for each time period.

The multi-authored Charlotte Mason Centenary Monograph series is designed to highlight and explore the continuing educational and leadership relevance of Charlotte Mason (1842–1923) through the collective contributions of the Armitt Museum and Library, the University of Cumbria, the Charlotte Mason Institute, and other scholars and practitioners worldwide.
