Four strands weave through all six years, growing in depth as students mature. Old Testament lessons take students through the OT chronologically, with all grades reading the same passages and narrations and discussions differentiated by grade — making it easy to combine across ages. New Testament lessons build from Acts and a harmonized reading of the gospels in Grades 7–8 to a deeper study of the gospels and epistles in high school, using study Bibles and commentaries to explore cultural, historical, and theological context. Church History moves from Christian biographies in Grades 7–9 to a broader survey of church history in Grades 10–12. Spiritual Formation (Grades 7–8 and 10–12) explores prayer, Scripture, and spiritual disciplines, while Grade 9 adds Bible History through God's Big Picture, giving students a sweeping view of God's Kingdom plan from beginning to end. Parents and teachers should adapt lessons as desired to fit their faith tradition and note that these lessons are intended as school lessons and are not intended to replace personal reading or family devotional times.
