Grade 2 deepens that foundation as students read Old Testament stories directly from the Bible three times a week and New Testament stories once a week. Lessons are enriched by artwork and teacher helps from resources like the Bible Story Handbook for context and interpretation. Both grades also study Church History once a week, reading accessible biographies of men and women of faith who connect naturally to Alveary's modern history rotation. Grades 1–3 can be combined for Bible Stories and Church History, making this a flexible option for multi-age homeschool and classroom settings.
