End of Term
By the Alveary Team
As many of us near the end of Term 1, or begin preparing for Term 2, this season naturally brings a mix of reflection and anticipation. Wrapping up lessons, preparing for exams, and thinking about the next term can feel both energizing and a bit overwhelming. It’s a wonderful moment to pause and take stock of how things went.
The close of a term offers space to consider what went well and what might need adjusting. A little reflection helps us enter the next term with clarity and confidence, which can look different in every household or school. As you look ahead, even small acts can set a peaceful tone for the term to come: tidying learning spaces, reflecting on exams, or reviewing your supply and book lists for the upcoming term. All of which can feel exciting and like a fresh start.
As you reflect on Term 1 and look ahead to Term 2, we hope you have a renewed sense of purpose and feel encouraged by the progress made so far this school year. Remember that each small step contributes to steady growth and meaningful learning. We’d love to hear how your year is going and which books have stood out to you and your students so far. Head over to the Hive to share here!
And remember, you can find instructions for submitting your exams to the Alveary team under “Exams” on your dashboard. We would love to see and celebrate your students’ work!
Lesson Plan Spotlight
The Reflective Practice Plan book is packed with amazing reminders, tips, and encouragement throughout each term. And, it is especially beneficial towards the end of a term as you consider changes you need to make, habits you want to focus on, and what did or did not go well during the current term.
